1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tool > Disk Cleanup. If you have several drives or partitions, you may be prompted to specify which drive you want to clean.
2. In the Disk Cleanup for dialog box,
scroll through the list of the Files to delete.
3. Clear the check boxes for files that you don't
want to delete, and then click OK.
4. When prompted to confirm if you want to
delete the specified files, click Yes.
Go through the process and after a few minutes, it completes the cycle and
the Disk Cleanup dialog box closes. Now your computer is cleaner and should be performing better.
